That is so weird you should mention Rachel Carson! I was just thinking of ordering her book
‘Silent Spring’.
I am so thankful for what she did to protect our environment. I’m worried man and his greed will
continue the destruction. It is
very troubling to me.

I’m reading Rachel Carson’s The Sea Around Us. She says (about 1960) that the sea will go on, but it is life as we know it that will be gone. She actually refers to using the sea as a dumping ground for atomic waste, but the end result is the same.

That’s a fun post you made with all your links. I appreciate your uploading my poem “Legacy of Heroines” on the Clio Club website. The site is coming along nicely.
